The prayer of the Holy Rosary is a time-honoured Catholic devotion, and the Fatima Message, of all the ecclesiastically approved Marian apparitions, distinguishes itself for its special link with this prayer. During the last apparition, on 13th October 1917, Our Lady revealed Her name as “Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.”

The Marian Franciscans in Gosport are pleased to announce the official launch of their new internet radio station, Radio Immaculata, on this day, Thursday 8th December, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

This is the all new radio station of the Franciscan Friars at Gosport. We hope to be instruments in the hands of the Immaculate and launch this exciting evangelisation project all in honour of her who is all fair and without stain of sin.

In a world where people wish to get rid of God, with the consequence of a significant oblivion of human reason, truth has been usurped by power. This is not necessarily political or economic, but – as it seems to be – a power of speech. It is the ability to express oneself and to convey a message that eventually creates the truth and makes others believe that the message is true.

The Immaculate Conception is the ineffable grace that God granted to Mary in order to preserve her from all stain of original sin and so to render her able to become the Mother of God. God in Christ, who chose to be incarnate in the fullness of time, predestined all pure and unblemished the one who had to welcome in her womb the Divine Word.
