On Ash Wednesday, Fr. Rosario speaks about Lent as a time of conversion, a time of change, a time of transformation. Every year Lent comes around, yet how many find themselves at Easter having done little to nothing for God. This Lent, let us change our ways. Let us have a firm desire to change and give up sin. Let us pray for the grace to weep for our sins, for sin wounds our Lord. Let us pray for the grace to be transformed, especially in the sacrament of Penance, where one encounters the mercy of God. This may be your last Lent – by the grace of God, may it be your best. Now is the time for change. Let us start today.

On the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Fr. Rosario reminds us of the call to holiness that God demands of His people. As we strive to earn perfect marks on our school exams, let us also strive to earn a perfect score on the exam of love, on which we will give an account at the end of our lives. We are all called to be holy. Let us plead with the Blessed Virgin Mary, that she may obtain the grace to be charitable. We must be saints. Let us want it. Let us desire it. Let us aim for it with every fibre of our being, that at our death, we may hear the sweet words of our Lord: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant…enter thou into the joy of thy lord.’

On the first Sunday in lent, Fr. Rosario speaks about temptation of Jesus, we are all tempted in different ways, temptation in itself is not a sin, only when we consent and say yes, that is when we sin. God never tempts us but He permits it. Temptations gives us an opportunity to prove our love, to be faithful and to grow in grace.

Father Rosario speaks of the Family. Today we have a lot of broken homes where Christ does not reign. We must then seek to grow in a life of virtue so that we can live in the peace of Jesus in our family's, and remember always to be thankful for all the graces God gives us.

On the feast of Christ the King, Father Rosario speaks about the absolute necessity of acknowledging Christ as King, giving Him the reverence becoming of His Divine Majesty. As we give reverence to the monarchs of this world, let us, as the Magi, come before the King of kings and adore Him, who is God. Christ's Kingdom extends over all created things and we, too, are called to participate in His Kingdom, which is a Kingdom of mercy. Let us strive to enter this Kingdom through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of mercy. Just as she obtained the grace of admittance for the Good Thief, She, too, shall prepare us the necessary graces, wherewith to enter into Christ's Kingdom for all eternity.

Father Rosario speaks about practising devotions as a means to help the Church amidst Her great crisis. Although the lack of courage and fortitude amidst the hierarchy is troubling, we have confidence that our fidelity to our Eucharistic Lord, the Blessed Virgin, and the saints - His great champions - will bring down the graces necessary for the defence of the faith, the renewal in the Church, and ultimately, the salvation of all souls.
